Controlled fertilizer injectors are a necessity for cannabis cultivation facilities looking to increase yields and uniformity. Manual systems are unable to provide the consistency and homogeneity needed for facilities growing multiple strains at different life cycles.

A little more about fertigation:


Automated fertigation systems work by pumping prefiltered water, typically from a day storage tank, into a small mixing chamber. Nutrients and pH adjusters are added to the water in the mixing chamber where pH and EC measurements are taken until the solution matches the grower’s desired conditions. Once ready, the solution is aerated and has its flow measured. The software controlling the irrigation cycle will then record the data from that cycle and allow it to be graphed to the grower’s conditions. Controlled fertilizer injectors are a necessity for large cannabis cultivation facilities looking to increase yields and uniformity; manual and simpler systems are unable to provide the consistency and homogeneity needed for facilities growing multiple strains at different lifecycles.

Tetra systems have the ability to incorporate full recirculation of plant leachate and runoff. By designing the drain collection, water storage, and fertigation systems, the recirculation component is able to be incorporated holistically. A typical recirculation system will collect leachate into a tank. From there the “dirty” water will be run through a filter and UV sanitization system. The UV system will dose the “dirty water” with 254 nm light (UV-C) permanently disinfecting it, and then pump it out to a fertilizer storage tank. These systems see fast returns on investment due to fertilizer and water savings.
